The Palms YES Trade Fair Awards 2008

After the success of The Palms YES trade Fair on the 9^th and 10^th of August, all the companies involved were eager to find who won the awards.

Our guest judge for The Palms Trade Fair was Ross Sheppard from Display Solutions here in Christchurch. Ross has had years of experience organising and preparing for national and international trade fairs – so he knows what he is looking for in a stall! Ross was very impressed with the stalls and this is reflected in his marks. In fact the marks were extremely close in the end.

And of course the trade fair wouldn’t have been possible with out the generosity and support of The Palms Shopping Centre. Jill Lyne and Tracy Thompson from The Palms presented the winning companies with a certificate to mark their achievement  and a $100 Palms hoping voucher.

The results:

• The best customer service award went to the company where every director spoke with passion and knowledge about their product: Grabba, from Avonside Girls’ High. (Kiwiana canvas bags)
• The award for best YES promotion went to the company whose stall was eye-catching, promoted YES and whose uniform also promoted their product: Pure, Avonside Girls’ High. (Kits for Kids)
• The best product/ service award went to the company who had an original idea, presented their product well and who priced it competitively: Eminence, Avonside Girls’ High.(Muffix, microwavable muffins)
• The award for best stall went to the company whose product was clear to customers and whose overall appearance promoted their stall and product: Pure, Avonside Girls’ High. (Kits for Kids)
